Make a Statement...Necklace!

When you want to add some extra luxury and a little bling to your ensemble, there's nothing better than a piece of statement jewelry! It's easier than it looks to fabricate your very own statement necklace.

Things you'll need:
Several Strands of Beads

 A piece of Felt
Studs
Hot Glue Gun
Needle and thread
Chain or Ribbon

#1. Cut your piece of felt into a bib shape. I freehanded mine, but you can find many templates online.
#2. Punch studs through felt around collar.
#3. Hot Glue a strand of beads below the studs. I chose turquoise rectangle shaped beads.
#4. Hot Glue multiple strands of seed beads in rows below the first row of beads.
#5. Sew statement gems below seed beads.
#6. Sew chain to the edge of the bib. I reinforced my sewing with hot glue. You can also sew a piece of ribbon on either side of the bib as an alternative to the chain.

The best part of this project is that there's so much room for creativity. You can buy beads, felt and ribbon in any color. All it takes is a little hot glue and a needle and thread to make a statement. So get to your local craft store, bring your imagination and get to gluing!

Happy Crafting!
